Institute of Optoelectronic Information Materials and Devices (Research Group of Crystal Materials) is within the Department of Materials Science, College of Materials Science and Engineering, Sichuan University. The main research topics are crystal growth and preparation of crystal devices for nonlinear optical applications, room temperature nuclear radiation detectors, theoretical prediction of functional crystals properties and so on. We have received National Technology Invention Awards twice, multiple Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Awards and many other awards.

Undergraduate students majoring in materials science and relevant subjects, potential candidates of Master degree, Ph.D. degree, who are interested in crystal growth, nonlinear optical crystals and devices, nuclear radiation detectors, are warmly welcome to join the group.
